Your Language Becomes the Cage

“I don’t need that kind of work. My trauma’s not that bad.” Ever heard that voice inside? The one that says: “I’ve already moved on.” “It wasn’t that big of a deal.” “It happened so long ago.” “Other people have it worse.” Here’s the truth no one talks about: Language becomes the cage. The stories you repeat — “I’m fine,” “I’m over it,” “It made me stronger” — aren’t just words. They’re bars. Reinforcements. Rewind loops keeping you inside the same emotional container — never fully free, just better at managing your pain. Continuing to believe that your story doesn’t need to be explored because it wasn’t “bad enough”… is exactly why you’re still exhausted from holding it all together. Why joy feels fleeting. Why deep intimacy keeps slipping through your fingers. The work I do isn’t about reliving your past. It’s about releasing the unconscious loyalties still driving your present. It’s about unbinding you from the language that has kept your truth suppressed and your nervous system loyal to pain you never chose. Systemic trauma isn’t always loud. It shows up in quiet places: 🧬 In the pause before you speak your truth. 🧬 In the need to apologize for taking up space. 🧬 In the smile that hides the ache. 🧬 In the same sentence you’ve told yourself for years: “I’m fine. This is just how I am.” But what if it isn’t? What if you’re not meant to keep managing it… But to finally release it — from your lineage, your body, your story? You don’t need to be in crisis to choose freedom. You just need to recognize when your own words have become a cage. And if this stirs something inside you — that something is your truth, ready to rise. 🕯️🦋🗝️ Believe Breathe Transform. Collitalks Love and soul hugs
