My blog celebrates the life journeys of us as women and is intended to inspire female readers to take a leap of faith---to courageously and deliberately seek personal transformation as we move through the various stages of our lives. As Women we constantly desire to know how to develop deep, juicy spiritual, emotional and physical lives throughout our whole lifespan.

A Little Tool Can Go A Long Way
Use This Reframe the Next Time You Feel Like You're "Sabotaging" Yourself
The next time you catch yourself procrastinating, pulling back, avoiding the thing you say you want…
Pause.
Before you label it as “self-sabotage” — ask yourself this:
“What part of me believes it’s not safe to move forward?”
This one question shifts everything.
Because most of the time, what we call sabotage is actually a survival strategy that was wired in long ago.
Maybe it was safer to be small than to be seen.
Maybe being visible meant being judged — or rejected.
Maybe success would have made you different from your family, and connection mattered more than achievement.
Maybe “doing nothing” is how you protected yourself from failing… or from outshining someone you love.
The key isn’t to shame it.
It’s to get curious about it.
🌀 What was this pattern protecting you from?
🌀 Whose voice do you hear when you hesitate?
🌀 What might finally be possible if you could meet that scared part of you with compassion instead of criticism?
This is the work I guide my clients through — gently, deeply, and systemically.
Because healing doesn’t come from pushing harder.
It comes from understanding what your system has been trying to do all along… and then choosing a new way with love.
Try this reframe.
And watch how your relationship to “self-sabotage” begins to shift.
